Many students are working on their narrative language or story telling. I find that it is often helpful to use visuals to explain the parts of a good story. It's similar to using a graphic organizer for a writing assignment. Here are some examples of visuals that we used in speech this week to help with our story telling.

One of the most difficult parts of articulation therapy is carryover or generalization of the newly learned speech sounds into spontaneous conversation. Many kids show us that they have mastered their sound during structured activities in the therapy room, however, the next step is transferring these skills into their everyday conversation.
